Kjell-Åke Andersson, born 1946, Chairman of the BoardKjell-Åke Andersson holds a Master of Engineering degree in Electronics from the Faculty of Engineering at Lund University. He was employed for many years at Electrolux in Malmö before he started the Xperi AB company in Lund in 1988. The company’s activities were aimed towards the development and manufacturing of electronically-based products in medical technology. The company was acquired by Note AB in 2002. Until very recently, Andersson was the managing director and CEO for Note AB.

Karl Hillgård, born 1967, Vice-Chairman of the Board
Karl Hillgård studied Economics and Entrepreneurship at Lund University from 1995–1997 and has been an entrepreneur in different areas since 1988. In 2002 Hillgård bought his first shares in MedicPen AB. In 2003, he increased his involvement in MedicPen AB before the company’s first share issues, and has been involved with MedicPen AB on a consultant basis ever since.
Shareholding: 2,122,000 shares.
Per Sjöberg, born 1948, Board Member Per Sjöberg has extensive experience in medical technology, with over 35 years in the field. He was the previous owner and managing director for Dan-Sjö Medical AB, the market leader in anaesthetics, intensive care and neonatal intensive care in Sweden. Dan-Sjö Medical AB was acquired in 2004 by GE Healthcare AB. Sjöberg is now managing director and majority owner of LPS Medical AB and the majority owner in LPOS Förvaltning AB. Sjöberg is also chairman of these companies and of Ängelholms Näringsliv AB. He is also a director of Sensodetect AB, Carponovum AB and Expermaker AB. In addition, Sjöberg is active as a Business Angel and mentor at Connect Skåne.

Cristian Hallin, born 1969, MD and Board Member.
Cristian has been an entrepreneur since 1987 and has previous experience of successfully running companies. Hallin has held the post of managing director at National Plast AB since 1994 and at VPAB between 1996 and 2001. He was the founder of MedicPen AB in 1999 and has worked at MedicPen AB full time since 2003. Hallin has a technical education but has also studied business administration and marketing. He has been a board member of the Health Technology Association since 2005.
